About the event
The gifts of the Holy Spirit are special abilities given by the Holy Spirit to believers for the purpose of building up the church, serving others, and glorifying God. Scripture teaches that "there are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them" (1 Corinthians 12:4), and that each believer is given a gift "for the common good" (1 Corinthians 12:7). These gifts include wisdom, knowledge, faith, healing, prophecy, discernment, tongues, and more, all working together through the power of the Holy Spirit to strengthen the body of Christ and advance God's kingdom (Romans 12:6-8; Ephesians 4:11-13).
